i have seen a few people getting offended over a few of kerli's recent pots, like the Prom gone Wrong and this new Worst album cover. I don't know why people take them the wrong way, i like them and think they are very funny

The prom ones she's sort of making fun of fashion choices and some of them the 'gone wrong' seems more aimed at they way the people look, which is kind of cruel. Andi'm guessing she's never met any of these people... I'd be really upset if I went a celebrity's blog and found a picture of me at prom in an album called "prom gone wrong"

i think the title needs to be changed, like "wacky Prom" would be better. The "Prom Gone Wrong" adds negativity i think, and is what is offensive to people

And most of them are duct tape outfits, which is a college scholarship thing so yeah that makes it seemsworse to called them wrong especially when the idea is to be the most creative/out there one

She should of just made it a duct tape prom album, considering she's all about DIY she should appreciate what they created

She called her hair purple but it looks blue to me, while I don't like the outfit it's been one of her better ones lately, she found a balance between showing skin and looking slutty

Is the word you're looking for "gangster"? LOL the pants hang so low on her and the shoes are flat so she looks kinda like that to me. Like maybe she's about to beat up the cameraman or something I like it though, actually. Seeing her in flat shoes for once is different.

Lol, Gangster. i like the shoes too, and the overall look, but what i'm getting at is just the over showing of skin. i guess its okay because of where she was, and everyone else wore the same thing though.

I think she pulls it off... But the idea of wearing a bra as if it were a shirt is kinda tacky to me. The jacket pulls it together, but it's definitely not one of my favorite looks for her.

Wtf Kerli? That girl looks so unhealthy and most girls arent happy with their weight so how should they feel after this post? And she idolize them. I am so angry and disappointed right now.

But Kerli is glamourizing these girls. The mermaid girl was interesting, she was actually doing something fun and different, she wasn't a 'doll'. the others are just 'famous' for unrealistic beauty standards. The Dakota girl photoshops the hell out of her pictures and the Russian Barbie girl admittedly had plastic surgery to look like that. They're done nothing but be skinny, it's harmful to post those pictures. Even if kerli's not idolizing them she's openly exposing her young impressionable fans to triggering images, people have enough body images without their fav artist posting these images. There could be a fan who sees this album and thinks " if I get that skinny maybe Kerli will notice me too". It's reckless, I'm super disappointed that Kerli continues posting pictures that could trigger people. I just.... There's so much I could say. If there's anything that will make me lose all respect and stop being a fan it's going to be post like this she continually post on buzznet

I wish she would stop posting those. I agree with Quincy, the mermaid was cool. It would be one thing if she was posting pictures of girls who just did their makeup really gorgeously or who had cool concepts (like the mermaid.) Those other girls used photoshop, plastic surgery, or look downright unhealthy.

Kerli might not be flat out idolizing them but younger or impressionable fans are going to see that she's giving them attention and want that attention too. I thought Kerli was about showing how beautiful everyone is, but this post focuses only on unattainable beauty. I would be 100% cool with it if she would just make it more about fashion/art than about these dolls.

I think this whole post was kinda stupid of her. Most see it's just makeup (white eyeliner), editing and unhealthy weight.

But Kerli has a thing for anime; she's said she'd like to be asian, remember? She loves their "cute" look. But I agree: she has a lot of impressionable fans (always a thing for arists), she should've said something about the unhealthy part of it. Or just not make such a post lol idk

It's funny, dolls were first made to look like humans, but then modernization happened and twisted their looks, and now there are humans who want to look like twisted dolls O_o Seriously, I would hate myself if I looked like them. A chin like that? Ehh... But that's just my opinion, don't get mad at me. I realize they look cute and all with their doe eyes and long looking limbs, but that's not human or healthy or natural. I've heard of people wanting to look like Barbie, but it's not even physically possible. Barbie couldn't walk if she was a real human being.
I hope people won't try to go for this look. You can look like a cute little girl without a freaky topology like that.

Dolls should be dolls, and humans should be humans.

Also, I don't blame Kerli for posting these things. Her mind is open and free and she loves everything and everyone, she may not even come to think of all the possibilities a few pictures could do to someone. She may think this is harmless fun, like with the colorful pets and whatever she's posted before. Don't take things too seriously, using common sense is allowed.

i really wish she went back to iamamoonchild.net. she posted things from the heart on there, and now she's just posting rubbish that she thinks is awesome. younger fans (in their teens, or young adults) probably feel too fat looking at the pictures of - basically - anorexic girls. i feel quite uncomfortable looking at them myself.
