I'm not okay.
I haven't been okay.
And I won't be okay.



My Best Friend
I have a best friend
She’s always with me.
She’s almost like a shadow,
Wherever I go she follows.
Sometimes she hurts me,
But it’s okay.
Abusive relationships,
They’re normal these days.
Even when she causes pain,
I know I can’t escape her.
I’m falling from grace,
But I can’t seem to stop.
Sometimes, my friend,
She causes me to hurl,
But it’s not that she disgusts me,
It’s that I disgust her.
I’ve tried to run away,
Yet she still continues to follow.
She stalks deep in the night,
And sometimes she gets unbearable.
But I know that I can’t stop her.
My friend, do you know her name?
Her name is Ana,
And she traps me everyday.
