Gah, I didn't think to write this before, but I'm unsure if I'd be able to ship internationally.

etsy is fun - although its a lot of work. before you can add a piece on sale you have to answer a lot of questions + pay a $0.20 adding fee. later on, when you've sold something they also take a percent of your profit, so not all of the money come to you. AND on top of that if you use PayPal - u never get 100% either, but i guess i can't complain since it's the safest way.
And international shipping.. since i travel quite a bit i have an idea what the prices are. i always put an estimate (and it never really covers the envelopes/boxes and the postage) but its just something towards it. what u can do is either go to the post office and ask how much it would be to send to Europe, Canada etc. And later on add a little extra for the envelopes etc.

I was also beginning to consider etsy, but that was my problem- with fees and shipping, i don't know how profitable and worthwhile it would be for me. Thanks for this info!
