unnamed poem..

Her tears were enough to quench the world's thirst
So nobody gave a damn as to why she was hurt
So she locked herself in a cupboard with a letter and knife
Put the paper on the wall, then went and took her own life
When they found her body, saw it had gone limp
They assumed she had run dry and so tattooed her skin
With the words: "Today I saved the world with my own death;
But I am no 'Jesus Christ' and you will never repent"
And so, to this day, I am left to ponder
On the mystery of whatever happened to her letter
Maybe it was stolen; maybe it was lost
Or maybe it was taken and nailed to a cross
(sorry about the religious themes)

This is amazing, I just love it 
It's so simple and yet it's so deep and meaningful and a little bit creepy...a bit like Kerli's songs ^^

Another one......
She said “why is it that you cut yourself so?”
I said “it was a toss-up between my wrists and your throat
So when it is a school day and I can’t find my escape
I let out all the stress by releasing my hate”
Her jaw dropped so low that it must have hurt her
But I couldn’t care less as I choke back the laughter
If only she knew what I would be capable of
If it weren’t for the blood-stained rags and cloth

TheLastSongBird: I actually would really love to be a writer or poet, but I must admit that my creativity is quite limited. I recently found out that my grandmother is a writer, but she wouldn't tell me what name she uses, which sucks because it would be awesome to see what kind of stuff she writes and compare it to my own stuff. Anyhooo... thank you
