The sands of time dance free in the wind
As he stands alone asking where to begin
Trapped in a world with no hope or no life
With nothing but questions and a small pocket knife
Searching for someone who will understand
Look's out in the distance.. there is nothing but sand
Walks into this land with no shoes on his feet
He blisters and tires from the suns scorching heat
Deprived of the key to escape his mirage
No one can find him, it's like camouflage
His emotions are written all over his face
Does anyone care that he's trapped in this place?
Pain stings like a scorpion and sticks like a bee
He prey's for salvation and for someone to see
Always felt so alone as he went up to bed..
He's now lost in the dunes that built up in his head
If you find him now, please dont pass him by
Turn back and look twice, just look deep in his eyes
Take time to search hard, and look with a wince
And you may just find, that little desert prince
