Because the whole earth suddenly made a huge switch in 2009. Totally. Astronomers already know the earth's been slowly moving for the past 3000 years making the signs switch. It didn't JUST happen, it's BEEN happening.

To copypasta what I've already said:

Star signs are determined by what constellation the sun was in when you were born. In Greek times, that might have been right even though they left out Ophiuchus but the position has been changing slowly throughout the years. Astronomers already knew this but everyone was so used to how the signs were, it never caught on.

That is how you figure out your star sign. Where the sun is in which constellation at the time of your birth. They left out an entire constellation and didn't bother to actually see where the sun was on certain dates when the earth began to shift, they just kept the dates the same because that's what people are used to.

I've also heard that it depends on whether you go by Eastern or Western astrology. I don't know about places in Europe, but mostly in the U.S. we go by Western astrology. This means Tropical astrology, which means you go by the seasons. It's a bit confusing to me. However, what I've read is that if you follow Tropical astrology, your zodiac is the same.

I heard that it depends on whether you follow the stars or the seasons/elements of each sign. Whatever feels right for you. Saw a good video on youtube explaining it a couple days ago but can't find it. It was made by a fellow moonchild Smile

Mind you, I don't even know anything about my sign. I really need to study up on these things...

That's the thing though, if this is real you can't just say you're the former one. It will always be this way so people need to accept their new zodiac signs. If it's real, anyway.
