Fairy drawing by me :]

I copied this freehand from a painting by the amazing fairy artist named Amy Brown, I have more and also ones that are not on lined paper but I have yet to scan them. I drew this probably 4 or 5 years ago now ^_^; seems like so long..

That's really something without any art classes =] I have been drawing my whole life and I went to a special academy for it and college haha but that is amazing! pursue your talent!! Amy Brown is a outstanding artist and that piece is one of my favorites!! (Amy Brown fan =__=) Great job! <3

thank you very much ^_^ I want to pursue it but unfortunately the need for money and schooling has taken precedence and the art will have to take a back seat for now :[

I love love love Amy Brown, I have 2 of her art books and I have loved her art since I was about 11 or 12! I have a few more drawings I copied from her stuff, I'll post them :]

oh how awesome! I would love to see your stuff :] That just sounds like a dream..getting an art scholarship. I really just want to take classes and learn all about the types of art and try my hand at them all! hehe ^_^

I need to work on creating things for myself...I am great at imitating but I have trouble conjuring my own stuff and putting it on paper.
Don't worry, I am a total nerd so no judgment here ;]

I have the same problem so what I do is take things I like from certain pictures and draw then into one example: that this pose, take that shirt but with this decal, and that skirt, and add those stocking but in that colour and that shoe style but make them boots. I dunno maybe I am crazy but it has helped me crate some wicked stuff but takes a lot of research. and BTW pottery is A LOT of fun =] I made an old fashioned English tea cup and a Japanese ramen bowl =] pottery classes aren't expensive I found one through my school but be warned it is messy lol and also watercolour is TONS of fun if you get the right teacher!!

agh! That makes sense, compiling elements from different things, that's totally a good method. I think I'll try it sometime.

And you have nooo idea how badly I want to take a pottery class! I always talk about it haha and I just love creating with my hands. I also bought myself some watercolor pencils for my birthday but I have been so busy I haven't had time to try them out!

Watercolour pencils are actually pretty fun =] and yeah that method has helped me a lot lol and I just know with your determination you will get into a pottery class =] but now I am curious what other art styles do you like?

Hmm...well are talking about visual art? I have dabbled in digital art, I love photography, tried my hand at painting. In addition to that I like poetry and creative writing :]
How about yourself? ^_^

I love to do pencil sketching, ink, chalk pastels, colourd pencils, some photoshop, also culinary arts, singing, my violin, learning piano, and ballet, tap, and modern dance =]
so all over the place lol I am an artist of different mediums =]

Oh I have always wanted to learn the violin or cello or the piano too, they are such beautiful instruments. I am not so great at singing..and dance really isn't my thing either ^_^; but that's awesome that you are into all that. Contrastingly though, I like to create in other ways like knitting and crocheting. I simply love working with my hands like that..I have always though that handmade things are the greatest :]

that is very very true because when you hand make something you put love into it and no matter how it comes out the person will always adore it =]

mmmhm! I wish more people made things themselves these days. Heck if I knew how to sew, I would be making my on shit aaall the time haha.

LOL! that would be awesome =] or.... O.O you could make your own clothing line and be all famous and stuffs!!!

Haha I don't know if I could deal with all that superficial crap of the fashion world. I think I would like making clothes and giving them to my friends instead XD
