The covers

Right, so as you saw from the picture i took the covers of the book are plain black.

i was thinking - to make the covers more interesting, we all could glue a little picture of ourselves on the covers! or something that symbolises you!!

so that in the end, there wouldn't be a black spot, it would all be like a big collage.

what do you think?

That's a fantastic idea Then that leaves the first page free for us all to sign it or something .

yeah, ill put the table of love logo on the first page and write a little message.

OH! wait! after this week, when we have the list of people who are participating, ill tell u this other idea i have. but i need to know how many people r taking part first.

yeah we've already talked about that. im making a plan but some people still have to send the book abroad. but for kerli, u know.

i mean it would be a bit unnecessary if there would be e.g. 5 from Poland and one from Poland would send it to the US or something,of course the 5th has to send it abroad^^

The collage idea sounds perfect

From TLSB's post on the other page, what about signatures instead? IMO, a picture captures much less than a signature.

i love the picture idea on the first, so she could get a better image of us in a way...

Idk about glueing pictures on the cover, If the book has 34 pages then how about putting what we want on the front of our page and our picture on the back of our page. But only if there are enough people. That way the pictures don't fall off the cover or get the cover messy.

that's the thing - we need to know how many people are participating. ive got some more ideas but i have to make a big post about it + a FAQ topic for this project, but i dont feel like doing it atm.

yeah.. i mean, it CAN be a picture, but it could also be for example a picture of a flower (Rose - ur name, ur fav flower), a skull (maybe u have a tattoo of it).. ANYTHING.

i dont know.. but i dont think it has to look like really proper and neat. the more colourful and caotic - the more fun i think!

Once we get it going should we make a topic about the book. Like as it's traveling the person who has it will do a post when they got it, take a picture of what it looks like when they're done, and the date when they sent it. That way we can all see where it's at, and how it transforms into the final thing.

and in the end, ill scan all the pages and put them up on the site!

so..we r litterally sending them to each other like form one state to another???? o.o im kinda confused but so far it sounds like fun

yes the book will be sent from state to state, country to country.

we should try to figure out who lives closest to who. like, have everyone participating write what state/country they live in so we can just send it to the next closest person.

i am making a plan of where everybody lives and who is gonna send it to!
i have sent most of you a PM so that you could send me the place where you live, the state - the country, so if you haven't done it yet, please do because otherwise ill have to keep postponing the start of the project!

PS WE HAVE A NEW BOOK NOW THAT HAS 96 PAGES, SO WE ALL WILL PROB GET 2 PAGES and the rest ill fill up with ToL facts etc.

PS 2!! the covers - the new book, as i said has 96 pages and the covers are leather! i just got it today and i also got these cute little letters and what i thought is, to put 'table of love' in the front and we can just add more of our stuff in the book, since its so much bigger.

As for the cover, I love it. I think that looks better than sticking on items to represent us would. I like how neat and to-the-point the new idea is. Although that might just be my OCD kicking in xD I think it looks very pretty too, I love the pattern and colours on the letters. I like the fact that we'll all most likely get two pages now, a lot.

i dont know the exact size but its like half of a4 so we'll all have a whole a4 to write a message to her!
