Here is my poem. People say I'm a good writer but I'm not sure. I had a go at this competition and I hope I did well.

You see me everyday,
You judge me on appearance and how I act.
I could judge you on many things but I won’t,
Because I know I shouldn’t.

I see how you act around others,
You’re smiling and laughing,
But inside you’re dying.

I try to help you and show you the way,
You lash back and spit venom,
Telling me I’m a freak,
That I need a life.

You snap at people and show no kindness,
Hiding how you really feel,
Behind a painted mask.

I can see though the mask,
I see what you have and what you are missing,
You are full of anger and hatred,
But you are missing one simple emotion,
LOVE.

Oh that's lovely!! it shows the importance of love when it comes to being happy by showing how you feel when love is absent. It's really beautiful

This poem does a great job in describing that lack we all too often share. You can be sure you're well on your way to becoming a proliferate writer, anyone less than that could never produce something like this!

Very nice, very honest and emotional. How do you feel you did? It may sound cheesy, but it really is the only thing that matters with these sort of things

I think I may have done alright but I have no chance of winning against all the other entries. They are all longer and compared to them my one looks like I did it in a minute and put no emotion and care into it...

Simple is better, in many ways. I wish everyone here could win. You did very well, and I'd say it's actually okay to have nerves. I'm extremely nervous about posting the song lyrics I've written for my submission. It's a wild and crazy ride, but keep it up! You're very honest in your work, very true to yourself. You shine through. You're very talented
