leafxx- I have no idea. I like trees. And other plants. I didn't know what I should make my sn, and there's this really lovely tree outside my window. So I guess that's the story of my screen name.

TheLastSongbird was inspired by a sort of alter-ego I invented for myself. She is called Cygnet (the name for a young swan) There is a legend that a swan's song can only be heard as a swan dies, and that it is both beautiful and heartbreaking. For some reason I can imagine a swan's song sounding at the end of this world as we know it, hence The Last Songbird Smile

Cygnet is my more confident side, compared to my other side who tends to let herself get beaten down, considered weak and shunned by others, like The Ugly Duckling who became a swan in the fairytale. At least, that's who I used to be. I feel I am making a transition now. I am becoming the swan ^^

So, yeah, I put a lot of thought into this username. I find I can't just pick any old thing, it doesn't feel right to me. I always spend ages thinking of one xD

mine is two things:
electric is for the song electric bird by sia, I used to feel so related to that song, like I was perfect, smart, artistic, funny but I was trapped. IDK, you should really hear the song and you'll understand.
but then I said, hey, birds are not my favorite animals, so I added rhino, like rhinoceros, that's my favorite animal! Smile

Mine is a modified lyric from 'Dragonfly':

We're flying above the world so hollow
Wherever this life will take us, follow

I think of these lines in the song as being about letting all of the superficial, trite, empty things in the world go, and only focusing on the meaningful things, like love. And embracing whatever happens in this life. I'm not sure if they're meant that way, but taken out of context that's how I see them. And so my username is supposed to be about letting all of the hollow (meaningless) things behind. And about a metamorphosis, changing into a being who can step away from these things.

LOL exactly. I still like him, but his new songs aren't that good.
But I'm keeping "Deluxee" because it sounds cool with my name. ^_^

hmmm i think i wrote the meaning of mine in another thread xD

omg and last week i randomly googled it and it came up with these converse shoes called Iridescent Revival which just broke my heart because i've always been proud of "coming up" with that term because the meaning is so important to me!!

lol plus i also have an "alter-ego" called Iridescence xD she's everything i wish i could be but i guess she's too badass for me lol

My user name is darksideofthesun because I couldn't think of anything so I decided to use the title of one of my favorite Tokio Hotel songs and I thought it would make an really cool user name lol.

I didn't want to use an Kerli song title because I thought that a lot of people would be doing that and I was right lol.

Well, my SN choice came about ~10 years ago. Playing Starcraft : BroodWars, there was this player, STRONGLIKEBULL, with an epic record of something like 25 - 3640 (wins - losses) y'know, before it was "cool" to have a "loss account." My friend and I found it so hilarious! So I quickly thought up some similar names, as you can imagine. I blurted one out, FASTLIKETREE, and he instantly loved that name and has used it since. On a side note, you can watch him play some of the best known Super Smash Brother : Melee players in the world (at the time) on youtube. I trained him well, not to brag or anything =þ. Anyways, so I eventually thought up the name PROUDLIKECOW.

It's really cool because it makes you think. The cow "unwittingly" sacrifices herself to be milked and eaten by us. But if the cow knows of the service she provides at her own expense, doesn't it seem like something worthy to be "proud" of? To make it even more ironic, I'm a vegan (at least most of the time).
