I was wondering why there wasn't a thread about her. Considered one of the most innovative female artists of all time, many artists such as Björk, Tori Amos and so on... consider Kate one of their idols. Kerli has also covered Kate's song. Kate has not performed live since 1993

Released 1978. This was the first song ever to go 1# on the UK charts that was written by a female singer.



''Running up that hill''
Released in 1985. This song was her breakthrough worldwide and a remix of it was also aired during the ending show of 2012 Olympics. Many bands and artists have covered this song, including Kerli

I could have sworn there use to be a topic about her. Oh well. I love her voice and all the stories she tells through her music. My favorite songs by her are "Wuthering Heights (the re-recorded version)", "Running Up that Hill", and "The Red Shoes" <3

I can't really think of a single bad song by her, neither can I think of a bad album The Kick Inside or Never for Ever might be my favorites

I love Running Up That Hill. I've never liked any of the covers of it. The Placebo one is very popular, IIRC.

She is so talented. Easily one of the most inspiring artists ever

Yeah definitely! I think she deserves way more recognition than she gets, I mean she is quite famous in the UK but in the USA she has almost always been a nobody

I love Kate Bush. I wish she went down as more of a classic than she did.
