Olivia Lufkin

Do any of you guys know Olivia Lufkin? She is a half english, half japanese singer, and you might know her if you watched the anime for Nana.
I've actually known about her before Kerli, and found a few similarities such as the magic in their songs and the sweetness of their look <3

I've heard of her, but I haven't really gotten a chance to listen to any of her music. I keep getting her as a "recommendation" on iTunes.

I think the songs she sang for NANA were beautiful,but not really her style.

I agree, the song for Nana may have been more popular, but they lacked originality and magic. The one thing I love about both her and Kerli is the way each song enchants you like a spell

Oh my god, I absolutely adore Olivia! There are very few songs of hers I don't like. Even though the songs for Nana had to be more mainstream than her usual style, I still love them just as much. She puts real emotion into every song, just like Kerli ^^

^ Yeah, I know! I hope she doesn't lose her dark side completely. Otherwise, I don't mind a bit of variety between her songs. I really like the songs on the Trinka Trinka single

i've always thought that she was much better at writing dark songs than happy songs. trinka trinka is a reaaally cute album, but it's less than what i was expecting from her.
i am obviously happy that she's happier now and not depressed anymore, but the things she came up with during the mini albums period [amaaaazing songs, drawings, concepts] were just genius!

^ Yeah, I like her angrier songs. I love The Lost Lolli. Alone in our Castle, Blind Unicorn, Celestial Delinquent and Space Halo are my favourites from that album. I love Spiderspins too, and I like her Synchronicity album, especially Dear Angel, Color of Your Spoon and I.L.Y. Yokubou.
