What keeps you strong?

Just wondering, what helps you guys keep your strength and to stay happy when misfortunes do come about?

I'll have to say my bestfriend who I can talk to about everything. Something big is currently happening, and I'm scared, so I can talk to her about it and it makes me feel so much better.

Friends and MUSIC. Just the right song can always cheer me right up.

I like suffering by myself, so when I'm going through a difficult time, right music and books always give me the strength that I need. A breath of fresh & chill night air and mint help, too. Really.

My boyfriend who is also my best friend, and he knows everything about me so I can talk to him like Im talking with myself.

And music ofc... without music I would be lost O.o

Haha, I'm going to feel like such a sad loner since I'm not going to mention something about my friends.

But what keeps me going is to know that I've gone through so much by myself, I stand alone and I'm a fighter. And that's how it always will be.

I put on my punching gloves before going outside to knock out the world.

actually I'm usually all alone when I go through a hard time (like now) so yeah I turn to you guys (:

listening to music usually drowns out my thoughts and I have this online friend that I write stories with so I can escape for a bit and be someone else.

Just so all of you guys know, I am here for absolutely anyone and I won't tell anyone about anythign you would tell me <3 I love helping people. Personally, I try to go alone on issues but normally end up confiding to my best friend or boyfriend. I hope everythign will work out well for all of you!

Art keeps me strong. I've faced many tragedies.

I'm usually alone so when I have gone through hard times, I usually listen to music or play some computer games.

MoonChildren keep me going I can always have a good old rant on my blog here, and everyone is so understanding. So yeah, writing stuff down helps as well, whether it's creatively or just talking about my problems on ToL.

My boyfriend helps loads as well. I can cry to him whenever I'm really down, or I feel like there's just too much hate in the world, and he'll reassure me that everything will be ok. He's the only friend I have outside of ToL that knows entirely who I am. I'm not saying my other friends aren't amazing too, I love them all, but I can really be my "weird" self with my boyfriend and feel totally accepted.

Same with me :3 I have friends but nobody knows me like he does <3

I think most of the time I go alone trough hard times. I try to relax with positive music or a good book...then I'll be ready for the next "day".

If I talk to someone it would be my boyfriend or my mum It's depending on the problem
