im an only child too! people always tell me they wish they were an only child. sometimes i tell them im happy about being an only child and other times i tell them i wish i had a brother or sister(:

I have one older brother but I never see him anymore because he's at University down at Otago and can't afford airfares to come home for the holidays Sad

He doesn't really answer his phone. He's usually too busy clubbing or something. And I'm very sorry to hear about your brother ditching you. That would be really tough.

Wow, maybe some day he will have the money to come down and visit.

It's okay, I was around 4 when he did and so I didn't understand much. I found him on facebook and myspace last year and he couldn't remember who I am, kinda sad but maybe he never wanted to see us again.
As creepy as this sounds but my mum has his photo in her wallet, even the one from his facebook profile. Poor mum had live with guilt for the past few years.

I don't even know the reason why he left, and I don't want to ask my mum in case she gets depressed about it (mum is Bipolar and she tend to stay depress for days)
One day I will find him and maybe he will come back again, he is still family to us though.
I am a strong person because of that, I didn't have any older siblings to rely on. I didn't have a role model really so I kinda grew up being me.

I have a half brother, but he's 20 years older than me!

My best friend has like 6 sisters and tons of nieces and nephews and I've spent tons of time with all of them, so it's like an extended family Smile

I have one older sister(6 years older than me) and one older brother(5 years older than me) . I think it is better to have brothers and sister because they are like your best friends you can trust and rely on.

I have an older brother. I don't see him often anymore. He got married, had a baby and moved out Sad

I was always protecting him and trying to defend him when he did something stupid and was fighting with my parents. I didn't want to see him get hurt. But he never really cared. Lolz. That's just how my family is. I wish we showed our feelings more.
But we had a good childhood, we always did silly things together Laughing

talking about separeted famillys 3 of my sisters live in finland and i don t see them that much only on summers but sence we got separeted who love each other even more than before it s hard not seeing them ...because we were all way s to gether before and when or mother died we all moved to diffrent places my big siter to spain the twins stayed in finland and me to belgium but know my big sister moved back to finland so if i move there we will be the 4 of us again but them my sister s from hier will be mising but the best day in my life was the day when my sisters and grand ma from finland came hier to spend a week whit us so we where all to gether ^^

they never want to play pokemon or action figers so I ended up marring barby to action man xD
and even whorse once my big siter tryed tu turn me into a girl !! (hopefuly my twin sister born then so she would have litle siters and live me alone !!)
I ll never be a tranvesti ... XD not that i have anything agains them
she allso tryed once to make me rastas xD
but at least she played mario with me ^^ on or super nintendo (best game machine ever!!)

I use to the only girl in my family until my sister came along, I was a big fan of the PowerRangers and use to have this pink powerranger suit and my brother was red and we would run around the house fighting 'crime' And I loved that suit so much I wear it pretty much everyday even out in public.
