Chubby Bunny: Bunnies & Bows

Chubby Bunny is a brand of kawaii accessories and apparel, based in Los Angeles, influenced by Japanese culture. The headband Hello Kitty Bow with a giant bow is very popular, it was created for the 50th anniversary of Sanrio to look like the sweet Hello Kitty.



The designer and founder of the brand Chubby Bunny is Michelle Nguyen, also known as “I am Chubby Bunny, the new face of the the new collection is a special star: the beautiful singer Kerli!
Kerli looks like a bunny in wonderland with her beautiful blue hair styled like bunny ears and the Shooting Star Moon Princess clips with white feathers and rhinestones.



The most kawaii accessories of Summer 2011 Collection are: Mermaid Tail Headband, Bunnies and Bows Headband, Bunny Buns Pom Pom Headband, Pom Pom Cone from Space! clips and the pink flower Rosy Garden Lolita Headpiece which Kerli wore at the opening of Bunnies & Bows exhibition.









Chubby Bunny logo is a plump white bunny and in its honor Michelle Nguyen has been the curator of “Bunnies & Bows: Art Exhibition & Fashion Event” opened at the Japan L.A. gallery in Los Angeles from 7 to 19 May: it was a group exhibition where the new collection of accessories, t-shirts and dresses in a limited edition was presented.



All the artworks of the Bunnies & Bows exhibition were obviously inspired by bunnies and bows, for a guaranteed kawaii result!.

personally i like the artwork more than the accessories. to me, everything looks like something i could do myself in my bedroom. im sure they have more stuff that id like as well but as much as ive seen im not a big fan.

I think I know what you mean mimi. The accessories look very simple and expensive, but some of the accessories on their website are pretty cute. The artwork is fantastic, I hope I can make art like that someday!

I agree.You could make the head-bands you're self. You just need to by a cheap headband.pluse a bow or whatever.
