Oh my days, it's all so pink!

Hi, I'm Steve.
I've been somewhat risk averse for an appreciable amount of time. My interpretation of do no harm was do nothing. There's also the small matter of fear of failure. I suppose the obvious solution is conquer it but a perfectly workable alternative is do nothing. I've been working the 'do nothing' option for *cough* decades. After a degree of stressing that was silly by even my standards sent Kerli one message & got one response. Her prodding provided the incentive to register here. Had my eye on the 1000th registered user for a while, as my research into finding a smaller stepping stone didn't pan out, checked back here, had 999 users - the 1000th was calling me so took the plunge.

A glance to the left should indicate I'm not your typical recruit. I know you're supposed to be accepting & all but wanted to make certain that you're ok with my being here. Assuming it's ok is it then simply a matter of blundering onto the main forum pages and having a nose around.
