He's Great (15 Fathoms, Counting)
The clock stated approximately 3:15
When I walked through the door I was caught by a gleam
As the music of the corridor and a game shot thrashes
I was focused on the light of the gleam from his glasses
Wondered who he was each time that he passes
Never seen him before. But have I heard his name?
I'm in awe, for I’m captivated by a stranger at a party
Playing eye-tag in the room. Is he doing the same?
We leave outside to play a game in the field.
But for what ever reason my eyes are focused on him.
A spot at the pool seems to make the mood better
A chance for a greeting and a free flow of chatter
He speaks aloud now, and my heart is racing faster
Because this stranger's so funny and he fills my heart with laughter
I'm comfortable now so I easily move closer
Im free in this state so I become the joker.
The clock has stricken hours, now it's time for us to go.
Why he attracted me from the beginning? I will never know.
But a reconnection sparks through a cyber unity.
With no need to interrogate, for this is not a scrutiny.
I've learned a great deal without asking about much.
About what lies behind a person, misjudgment, and such.
He's sweet as can be
And he's true, as I see.
And he's genuine in form
Which is epic to me.
A poetic in his rising
Which is nothing surprising.
Collected, captivating, and wonderful in my eyes and...
So many thing I could say
In a poetic and emphasizing way.
I love this guy today.
A little over the common say.
But less than the ultimate.
But never lacking the ability and agility to make it happen...
He's great....
