Okay so I'm sure that most of you have heard of Rebecca Black.... She is a 13 yr old rich girl who made a music video that her parents pretty much bought for her. The studio wrote the song and it's, well, crappy.

I REALLY hate this song but it went viral in one day(mostly because it sucks SO BAD).
Anyway the video got 92,700,783 views, and 238,311 likes and 1,846,722 dislikes(this number keeps changing every time I go back to the page LOL).

Anyway. This song REALLY sucks. So. Watch it. And let me know what YOU think.

I don't like her, but she has talent (not her voice, but her music), she could become a great writer or producent.

The song is mind-bogglingly stupid. My brain actually froze when I heard it the first time :D I can't believe someone has the balls to write that kind of lyrics. And the voice HHNNNHGHGHNHHGR! Please, stop using auto-tune D: If you can't sing, do something else!
Plus she's just 13, she should be at school, not trying to be famous. Or driving or partying! I mean, wtf, when I was 13, I was outside with my friends killing dragons.

The song is not the best song ever, but I don't think it's the worst either. People should hate the song, not her. They seriously write that they hate her and she should die. Like if those idiots can sing.

Honestly, I feel kind of bad because of all the hate.
I know that everything about the song is freaking stupid, but imagine having a song, thinking that it's gonna be catchy, and everyone like it, and have over 1 million people dislike it on youtube. LOL. its horrible, i bet she is so embarrassed xDD I feel bad.

so andrew comes back into my room to hangout for a few minutes.
after my mom comes back inside she yells from the living room ,
My mom: "Rebecca black, did you say?!"
Andrew: "LOL, YA ! that's it"

and he's like .. laughing.. then it starts to play, and he starts laughing. then my mom makes come comment about how it sounds too poppyy... then about 45 seconds in ...

My mom : "ANDREW, WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!!!!!?!?!?!?!?" LOL
then she posted it on his wall on facebook and tried convincing everyone that it was his favorite song.

I don't think it deserves the hype it's getting. It's not great, but it's catchy. She's not actually that bad. There's an interview with her I saw where she sang the National Anthem. She wasn't great, but she sang in tune. She was just auto-tuned to have a better "pop" sound. The song's lyrics aren't good. But they aren't terrible. I mean, WHY does everyone hate it SO much. Leave this girl alone! So what her parents "bought" this for her. It's not HER fault, or even her parent's! If I had that money, I'd do something like that too. Who wouldn't? Seriously people

Yes, i've been inflicted by the 'Black Plague' aswell. I honestly don't think she is as bad as people say. She is not that talented, yes, but she is only 13. She has years ahead of her to learn things and she is going to be so much better.

I do agree i feel sorry for the young girl, and if you think about it her life is just starting, she is only 13 she has years of life still left to go(unless somebody doesn't go nuts and tries to kill her) and she is hated by MILLIONS already! If u believe in prayer I ask you to please pray for her and her future =(.

I think she's getting a lot of unnecessary shit for this song, it's bad but it's not that bad. And this is one of those times were I think the parents need to stop being their kid's friend and start being their parent.
Sure maybe they thought she was a good singer but she's only 13 (and probably only 12 when the process began). Either she was going to be made fun of or if she had become a teen pop star she would have lost her childhood and probably became a child star statistic. It's a bullshit company, the parents have to pay them, isn't normally the record company pays the artist? If her parents weren't rich and didn't indulge their 13 year old daughter with this they may have spared her some of the embarrassment

I kind of agree with Quincy!.. I Guess it all comes down too that it was just a fun thing for the girl to do. I don't think it was meant for more then that. I think it's fine to dis-like the song. I mean how many people have gut's to do this? sure her voice stinks. & the song is kind of dumb. but I don't think people are being very nice about her giving her death treats and stuff.That's NOT cool. Maybe if she took voice lessons That would help.When she's older her voice could change! That's all I'm saying!

As a lot of you have already said, I feel bad for her. She doesn't deserve all this hate. She's even been getting death threats over this and that's just wrong. I can't imagine what it must feel like to be her right now. Sure the song isn't that great but still, that doesn't mean it's ok to send her death threats or say hateful things about her. She seems like such a sweet girl too.

Yeah I've made fun of the song too but I've never said anything like that. I can understand not liking the song but wanting to kill her and such over it is just ridiculous.
