Your Scars

We see your scars
They're still red and raw
Please, wash the blood away
Before you come knocking at our door
We see your hatred
In your bloodshot eyes
Don't hate, love always wins
And we don't tell lies
Don't take your anger out on us
Don't you remember integrity, love and unity?
We'll stop making such a fuss
Put your hate away
There's no point threatening to harm
So just sit and stay
Look at our innocent, loving faces
Look us straight in the eyes
Our eyes are no longer empty spaces
Come and sit, let us join hands
The angels are with us
Telling us about forgotton lands
So please, wash the blood away

Then perhaps one day
