Greetings :)

After browsing these forums for a while, I decided to join, because of all the inspiration and creativity. And new friends are always nice ;)

My name is Silja, I'm from Finland and I'm 24 years old. I live with my fiance who's 25, and we have a black cat called Roope. He's almost two years old :)

I'm an animation student, and I'm supposed to graduate soon :D I also have a job at a "game company", where -at the moment- I design and draw pixel monsters for a game. Before that I designed/modeled/textured/rigged/animated 3D-characters for a game.

My hobbies: playing video games, reading, drawing/painting, 3D-modeling, pole dancing, girya, making clothes/jewellery, cooking/baking... Pretty much whatever comes to mind :D

My favorite bands/artists would be Samael, Macabre, Rammstein, Michael Jackson, System of a Down, Nightwish, Metallica, Lady Gaga, ROOT and of course Kerli. I don't remember how I found Kerli, somewhere on the Internet, anyways. I'd never heard of her before, so I started listening to her songs and liked what I heard. I also felt that her songs made me happier, and think about... well, things :D I guess I'm depressed (I have been for years, now), so now I'm trying to think more positive. Also an "artist's block" has been bothering me for quite some time, so Kerli's new album would be just perfect :D I have so many pictures and ideas in my head, but I just can't get them out!

@Ene: En minä kuuntelekaan ku hyviä bändejä ;D Osa bändeistä on tullu tutuksi black/death/doom-metallimörköpuolisolta, mut en tietenkään läheskään kaikkea pysty kuuntelemaan :D Epicaan en oo pahemmin perehtyny, kyllähän tuo ihan OKlta kuulostaa, vaikkei ny heti iskekään :) Pitänee totutella.

Yeah, my tattoo designs are pretty popular :D If you need any help with your tattoo, just ask :) I have two tattoos myself, a dragon head on my right shoulder and a flowery thing on my left ankle. I designed the flowery thing, and I intend to continue the dragon head somehow. My mother tattooed them on me <3

@kurokai: Ai niin, oothan sinäki suomalainen! Unohtui, anteeksi :) Do you mean the flower lady that I drew with a ballpoint pen? I'll certainly draw more pictures like that, since it's very easy :O Actually, I have a picture of a mermaid somewhere, I have to scan it before a friend of mine buys it from me :D Kiitoksia!

Thanks! I have a pretty good idea as to what I want now. I was just wondering if I could PM you a picture of the symbol my idea's based on, and give you a description of how I would like it to be modified. Would that be ok?

@kurokai: We could practice Finnish occasionally :D Like, if I say something to you, I write in Finnish, but I'd also translate the same text to English. Or something :D

@TheLastSongbird: Sure! Usually when someone commissions a tattoo design from me, I make a few versions and let the "customer" decide what looks good or how it could be made even better. Then I make a clean vector of the final design :)
