Right.. so Ive noticed I haven't written anything lately as well.. So here it goes.
I don't actually know what im feeling right now.. Im woking out a lot, which i love - it has made me feel so much better about myself..
I love being home.. but something is always missing.
Even though ive got my mum and my sister here.. i feel so alone at home. which i kinda enjoy as well because I can just load my batteries, but its a bit disappointing how all my estonian friends have just like.. forgotten about me? when im in england all they talk about is how much they want to see me.. and when im here.. nobody's around.
ive got about 2 weeks left in estonia.. and ive been getting this feeling 'why the hell do u want to leave this place' a lot. i know its going to be such a hard time once i get back to the uk, it kinda frightens me. but im trying to tell myself that this is the road that ive chosen.
PS sorry i haven't done those recordings yet.. i just haven't felt like doing them yet. ill do them before i leave estonia.
what else.. OH my father has always kinda been against me going to england and working towards my dream. he's always 'supported' me but always thought id grow into being a doctor or something.. which is not going to happen. and another thing he's said, that we never really see.. which is true. BUT ive been in estonia like 2 months almost.. and we've seen twice - 10 minutes each time. so is there really a difference where i am?
im so disappointed at life right now. dont know why. Friday the 13th, eh.
OH I FORGOT. one good thing - im doing a new art project and its all about fairytales. and i came up with this idea, of making a doll and 'putting hearts as her eyes so that she could see only love'. <3

its getting better now though. i dont know what got over me. it was just.. all of a sudden everything appeared so much bigger than it actually is & i felt as if i cant deal with it.
in england.. im so looking forward to seeing my boyfriend and some other friends.. i can't wait to have long talks with my second mum in the kitchen till 2 am & go and sit on my neighbours balcony who always calls me an immigrant lol
my dream is to be happy. i want to find myself in a place and the state of mind where.. im happy.
whats yours?

Re: Mimi
yeah
thats the whole part of becoming happy though..
finding ur part and purpose.
i KNOW what my purpose in life is. ive known it for such a long time, but the road to fulfill it is just sooooooooooooooo hard.

^ Yay :]
you made learning Estonian fun, for some odd reason I prefer to learn from you then from some weird monotone voice that could possibly be incorrect.

Re: Mimi
hahaaa the first time i did this recording thing i felt soooo weird because im like super slow and repeat myself.. but then again, ive tried to learn languages myself with these cd's etc and they are always SO fast that yeah i might say what i HEAR but thats not necessarily the right way. so.. i hope me being slow and repeating the words is good for u
Re: Mimi
^ Definitely! Aural tests in French were a pain for me and several others, because French is a very fast language. It's so hard to catch what they're saying. The way you do your recordings does help
Thanks for your latest lesson Now I'd better think about which other words or phrases I'd like to learn.

Something happened today that made me so proud to be an Estonian. As you all probably know, Im an Estonian but I went to England when I was 17 and Ive had it as my second home ever since. I love being there although it's so much harder. I feel like a grown -up there and sometimes it sucks. Nevertheless, my mum is always the first person who i phone up when im in trouble or i feel as if i can't do anything anymore.
I don't really know why I wanted to leave home.. i just did. i don't regret it because it has enabled me to grow a lot in a short period of time. i was so excited to go at first, i didn't even shed a tear. and now, im leaving home for the 6th time and its getting so much harder.
I just got back from working out. I always go to the same club, everybody knows everybody there and i absolutely love it. i had my last work out here in estonia for awhile, and after the workout the trainer Anneli asked everybody to stay where they were and brought this little basket with mushrooms, blueberries etc.. everything u can find in the forests here. and said that every woman in this club contributed and put something in this basket. so when i get lonely and homesick i could think of them. she had tears in her eyes and so did i. im not sure if the tears were from happiness or sadness but i feel like crying my eyes out.
actually ive been feeling like crying my eyes out all the time lately.
it is just so nice to know that i have surrounded myself with sincere people who actually care for me no matter what. size, age, hair colour what ever. nothing matters.
So yes leaving home gets harder for me every time..
But thanks to that... the sweeter gets returning.

Re: Mimi
awww, you grew up in a tight nit community and it's something that most people wish they had. Heck I don't even know many people in my street and I didn't even grew up being best friends with the neighbour's kids.
The two of our neighbours actually really hate us though ^_^;
Your going through something emotional, crying cleanses your soul and I usually just cry to rid of any horrible emotions that is not needed.

Re: Mimi
yeah i cried my eyes out yesterday and i think i got it out of my system
well.. i grew up in a small community but that also means that people's mindset is small. that's why i had to get out. and now, i dont have many friends who i hang out with. and ive realised.. i dont need many friends, because why waste time with people who are never gonna understand u completely. ive got a very tight circle.
and in estonia.. well.. ive got like 3 friends here who i ALWAYS see when im back, the rest are just.. people i know.
but i guess, in the end of the day, im not sad to leave because of the people, its because of my home, the town where i live, the food etc.
anyway, long rant without a point, prbably lol
OH! and the street where i live.. all the neighbours hate us because when we moved here, my dad had his own car and my mum had a killer job. typical envy.
Re: Mimi
heh envy gets the best of a lot of people, I can't remember why our neighbours hate us. I think it has something got to do with the property. The parents drink too, we had one who threaten to burn our house down few years back and the other we had to get a restraining order. It's horrible, my parents wouldn't let me mingle with the other kids in my neighbourhood because of them.
Glad your back to being normal :]

Re: Mimi
haha when i was 8 or so, i was playing in the garden with my dog(still a puppy) and our neighbour came out and shouted 'if you don't shut the dog up i will shoot him dead..'
nice lol
nice lol
Re: Mimi
it makes u strong though. like when you're bullied all the time, you either fall together or you come out stronger.

They threaten to put my dog down because it wandered off into their yard.
dramatic much?
heh, my neighbourhood is alright. The suburb next to mine is very dangerous though, many people who live in housing comission are there and if you walk in the streets at night you could get bashed or rape.

SO true. I've gone through so much crap at school. I was a laughing stock. All theater kids were. But the thing that kept me going was knowing how much stronger I was than them. If they switched shoes with me they'd crumble and fall. They weren't used to being hurt. And I was able to handle it because I've always dealt with it.

#9 EVERYTHING DOES HAPPEN FOR A REASON1
As most of you probably know - i had problems with my college etc so im on a gap year now and it is so boring! ive been doing art every day (that's the exam im retaking) and i kinda felt like there is no light in the end of the tunnel and i just had no motivation anymore UNTIL i was looking at universities and courses and i found THE course. its called creative producing and it is everything ive always wanted to do!!! im so excited and i have something to work for now.
just wanted to share this with u.
especially because, when i didn't get into university this year i thought that i was a failure etc. and now, i see why i didnt get in - there was something that is sooo much better for me and now ive found it.
fingers crossed i get in next year!
ps within the course i get to go abroad for 3 months for practise. probably america, so ill be visiting some of you very soon!!

I'm so happy for you! I wish you good luck, even though I'm sure you don't need it. This is what you were meant to do, after all ^^
I'm just waiting for everything to settle down for me, because I'm moving to where I'll be studying on Sunday. Once that's sorted and I'm settled, I'll organise a trip to Hastings to see you Everything's so crazy right now. I'm nervous, excited, apprehensive, everything xD Looks like we're sort of going through the same thing at the same time. So many changes for the better

I'm going to Derby It's such a lovely city, I'm going to love living there, I know it. It just takes me a while to get used to the idea of change. You're right though, mostly change turns out for the best, because life's always advising you about how to make the best choice. You just watch for the signs ^^
