I get herpes on my fucking lips -.- No, but seriously. I was stressed on friday and I got herpes on saturday. WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK. I'm sorry for those mean words, i'm just out of control.

I'm getting off topic.
When I'm stressed I try to drink water and listen to some calm music and try to not think about those things that just happend..

I get an empty piece of paper and a pencil, I put my headphones in, draw/write anything that pops into my mind while listening. Cry if needed. Wear comfy and soft clothes to make me feel smoothed. Hugging my pillow (it never hugs back haha). Open my window for cold and fresh air to make me feel alive. Sometimes, talking to bestie helps too unless you need to get over it by yourself.
If I can't do any of these, if I'm outside or around people, I usually can't do anything, I get aggressive and try to avoid people and sing to myself. They say breathing exercises help.

wow these are all great ideas....I've been under a lot of stress lately....(my fiance' is in the army, my mothers being ehhh, my grandmothers going in for surgery and is have memory lose, my bother is have money issues, and I am missing my loved ones that have passed on, not to mention trying to piece together my wedding) soooo I need all the help I can get

I draw or write listen to music, dance vent in my live journal (I am not emo...) or talk with friends online...but these past few days I have been overly emotional and haven't been handling it well at all..... plus me being really sick.... it's all overwhelming..... so any stress relief helps right now.... cat

@Katt I would really suggest meditation. It helps a lot. I'm trained in Transcendental Meditation, but just clearing your mind for about ten minutes is also helpful.

yes that would. My mother is a shaman so I didn't grow up with Jesus like a normal child (no offense to anyone I do believe in God tho) I grew up with stuff like "Be the water" (I'm a water element so yeah =___= ) and in the Wicca laws... well my mom knew I was an indigo child be for I was even born so yepp.... anyways back on subject...Meditation was something I was never good at... but I will try and see if it helps =] thank you <3

I completely shut everything out and go into my own little world.

I do different things (listening to music, brooding, writing,) there's never really a set thing that makes me feel better or even really gets my mind off of what's upsetting me.

If it gets too bad, I usually just end up going to sleep. :/

Wow, that is so interesting. Your upbringing sounds fascinating! That kind of stuff is so cool to me.

Music and dancing usually gets me in a better mood but this week I've spent most of my moping in bed Razz

I think I may bake a cake today and have no shame about eating it all by myself XD See if that cheers me up a bit!

@JaneLove yeah I was the weird child but I survived and also sorry about your stomachache =[ try some herbal tea...peppermint =] it always helps me and it's good for you =] and I bake when I am stressed too but I whined up feeling all fatty-like after =/ but all these are great Ideas...I dunno why I've been so emotional lately I mean it's BAD emotional =/ I need all the tips I can get...

Working out also helps me A LOT. It's great to get the endorphins flowing and release all the pent up stress.

@Katt I've been drinking a lot of tea. :] Green tea, mostly. But not too much because caffeine makes me nervous. And thanks. :]

^ Try herbal tea! It's extra calming and has no caffeine. I really like camomile - it's soothing and makes you sleepy.

I drive around in my car while listening to music. :/ Wasteful.

I always have tea. I bring a thermos of it to school. I love chamomile, but I've been drinking these teas I got in England because they're so much better than anything you can get here.

Crying is very healthy because if you bottle your emotions too much it becomes disastrous because when that bottle is too full and breaks it's just an awful nightmare of emotions like sadness anger and depression. But I am a sap to crying I cry so easily especially at movies...that's another thing I do when I'm down is watch a movie....lol chick-flick+Popcorn+candy+ice cream= best sleep ever....lol I'm a weirdo...haha

I've done that too but it never worked I had sever anger out bursts so yeeeaaaaahhhhh I ry to find ways to contain or get rid of it lol like eating my comfort food...Homemade Pizza yum ^_^

If you think or do something that makes you happy (even if your not at the moment) it will help you when your not happy.
Best music to listen to when your upset is songs that higher your vibrations (vibrations are the waves of your emotions that go into your aura) so movies like Phantom of the Opera, or artists like Sara Brightman are all good for that. The upbeat and positive-ness is to help. because the more you higher your vibrations the more positive you become the more positive you become the better your life gets, the better your life gets the more happy you are and so on and so forth. So doing the things that make you happy will make your life better in the end in short LOL. I study metaphysics still =___=''' so I lean about auras and chakras and vibrations and all that good good gum drop stuff that when you explain it to people they look at you like "WTF? are they drunk?" lol so

But in short that is true BUT the catch to that is if it's a sad song that you like then chances are it will only add to your sorrow only covering it with a comfort zone....that make sense? Happy makes happy sad makes sad that's kinda what it comes down to....lol
